Aylmerton 2024

Year 4 residential to Aylmerton in Norfolk

Our Year 4 students got to enjoy a trip to Aylmerton Outdoor Education Centre in Norfolk where they had the chance to work on their team building skills, forest school skills and had some lovely long walks on the Aylmerton Estate.

At Aylmerton we went to the beach to look for flint and fossils. We also had the chance to go rock pooling. We took a boat trip out from Morston to go and look for seals. We had a Pirate Day, which included building and travelling across a zip line, going on a high wire course, we built hides in the woods, learnt how to create a fire safely, and used our senses to feel our way through the woods and to look for things that shouldn't be there. My favourite part was when we got to go bowling where I scored a strike!   Lola, Year 4.

All of Year 4 had a fantastic time, so a big “THANK YOU” goes to the team at Aylmerton : Sparky (Captain Sharky), Eagle, Miss Frog, Woody and Patch for looking after all of us!
