On Friday, Year 2 visited Peterborough Cathedral and spent their day listening to stories, creating their own stained-glass windows and learning about the importance of Advent to Christians.   The children helped the cathedral prepare for the celebration of Advent during the festive season, learning the meaning behind the five candles and why they are lit. The children were also reminded of the Nativity story and its importance to Christians.
